Welcome to a set of web-videos that have been created to tell the story of life with NF. This array of personal stories spans the NF1 and NF2 spectrum. The courageous individuals you’re about to meet would like you to know that you are not alone in your journey with NF. We hope that this series of video clips serve to offer you real life solutions and hope.

Tara

Join Tara, a young adult with NF1, who shares her journey and insights of life with NF through childhood into adulthood.

Cynthia

Cynthia is the mother of Tara. She shares her insights to coping emotionally with the diagnosis and its related challenges, while gaining and providing effective support as the parent of a child with NF1.

Lalaine and David

Lalaine and David are the parents of a young teen son with NF1. They share their personal insights to the challenges of raising a child coping with NF related issues with dignity, positive self image and faith.

Hugh

Hugh is an adult sharing his experiences and insights of his life with NF2. Hugh talks of how he copes and continues to live life to the fullest despite profound deafness and other challenges.

Desormeaux Family

Suzanne shares the diagnosis of her son, Haven, with NF1 and its impact upon herself and her family. She also shares her journey of learning to advocate for a child with learning disabilities, as well as coping with the uncertainty of life with NF.

NF – Kids to Kids

Available in DVD or VHS format, this resource features children ages 9 to 19 sharing their experiences on living with NF. This is a must see for children who are newly diagnosed with NF and for children experiencing new symptoms.

Life with NF – 2007 Symposium DVD

The DVD features all six hours of the 2007 fall symposium. Dr. Vincent Riccardi, Dr. Jan Friedman and Dr. Eva Dombie are just some of the presenters you will see on this DVD. The panel of adult presenters, who share their journey of living with NF, is definitely not to be missed!
